September 13, 1999

Fe Software & Development has released the most recent update to PIM Flash. Version 1.12.

Try the most powerful and complete set of -VCL- PIM and calendar components available. 25 components, everything from a date calculator that understands repeating holidays, including such things as the 3rd Thursday of November, to a week view, day view, and a set of UI components that will make your application look like a real PIM. We also have data aware versions of the week view, day view, and month view.

VERSION 1.2 UPDATE CHANGES

Following are the changes that have been made to Pim Flash since its last update notice.

We fixed a couple of bugs in the drag and drop that were introduced with the changes that were made in the last update.
We fixed an AV that would occur in the drag over event of the db day view.
We added a time property to the day view. This property reports the time of the currently selected row... and can be set so the control moves to the row that most closely matches the time requested.

VERSION 1.1 UPDATE CHANGES

The big thing here is we worked on making the drag and drop and the in-place editor co-exists better. We have been having problems where the controls would get confused... the controls didn't know if you wanted to start a drag or use the in-place editor.

Standard Control Fixes

Fixed AV that would happen before entering a new appointment. We also fixed the problem where the controls were getting confused between dragging an appointment and editing one.
The begin drag was moved to the mouse move instead of the mouse down. (in-place editor/drag drop)
The inplace editor now opens after the 2nd mouse up event on an appointment instead of the mouse down. (in-place editor/drag drop)
The drag over and drag drop events now fire correctly.

Fixes to the DB controls.

The application error with the db calendar panel and the db calendar panel view have been fixed.
