DataSoft Upgrades ODBCExpress To Version 5.0

DataSoft announced that ODBCExpress, has been
upgraded to version 5.0 for Delphi 4. Version 5.0 includes full
dataset caching and cached updates, multiple result set support
for the dataset, and compliance with the latest ODBC API v3.51.
In addition, the new version fixes about 18 bugs that were in
the previous version (4.53).
ODBCExpress is a BDE replacement that allows developers to use
ODBC drivers directly without installing the BDE. ODBCExpress
wraps the ODBC API directly, which DataSoft says allows
ODBCExpress to perform much faster than the BDE.
